- Go to How to Join > Register as a Prospective Member and read the information there.
- Click on HERE to take you to the registration form.
- Before filling in the form, pay the $10 fee via direct bank transfer.

- You will receive a confirmation email with your registration details when your Prospective Membership has been processed. If you cannot find it, look in your Junk or Spam folder.
- You can now use the username and password you created to log in to the club website and book your first walk.
- You remain a Prospective Member for up to 6 months, but will need to qualify for full membership within that time.

The cost of full membership is available at How to Join > Membership Fees. Our membership year runs from 1 October to 30 September and the current annual membership fee is $55.
Your initial joining fee will depend on the month you join the club. If joining between October and March, the fee will be $55. If joining between April and July, the fee will be $27.50. These fees will cover you until your next subscription is due for the membership year commencing 1 October.
If joining in August and September, the fee will be $55 and will cover you until subscriptions are due in the following year.

MWWC encourages carpooling to the start of walks where practicable. If you are a passenger in a car on a day walk you are expected to pay the driver an amount varying from $5 to $20 depending on the distance, to defray the costs for the driver.
For multi-day trips requiring the booking of accommodation or camp sites, and for social events (lunches, tours) etc there are additional costs involved. These will be made clear in the description of the activity.

Day walks of at least 12 km in length are deemed qualifying walks, and labelled QW in the description on the Activities calendar. See Activities > Scheduled Activities or the walks listed in the right sidebar of the homepage.

MWWC has 3 major grades of walks Easy (E), Medium (M) and Hard (H), plus 2 in-between grades Easy-medium (EM) and Medium-hard (MH).

You may only register for a walk after you become a prospective member. Go to How to Join > Register as a Prospective Member. When your registration has been confirmed you will have access to a wealth of information about walking with the club.

Members may invite a guest to join them on one of our walks, subject to the agreement of the leader. Adult guests need to register as a visitor on the website (see Visitors).
It is expected that if a visitor is eligible to become a member and would like to do so after trying out an activity with the club, they will register as a prospective member (see How To Join).
